Steph New Member Dec 20, 2012 #3 The rule of thumb I've learned by talking to breeders is to take the weight of puppy at 12 wks old and double it. That will give you the adult weight. 3.5# though at 4 months sounds about right.

nola New Member Dec 20, 2012 #4 Nola (who's 7 1/2 - 8lbs now), was 4lbs at 4 months. She finished growing at about 11 months.
Doxmom Member Dec 20, 2012 #5 Bree is 11 months old now and I hope he stays at his current weight of 11.2 lbs. Of course I love him no matter what, but smaller makes it easier to travel with him.. Zoey is precious, BTW..
