I'm posting this in case some folks would like to make a doxie den for their doxies that might need a warm spot to hide on chilly days.

It's a large rubber maid tub with hinge lid. Cut a hole for the entrance...

Inside I put a contour pillow and they really seem to like it. I made a fleece pillow case for it but put the pillow in a garbage bag first to keep the pillow clean from accidents...

The top red with dalmations is a quilt cover so that when they go in the door, they are underneath the quilt.
 
Wow! So creative! Great job! Aly is such a little snuggle bug and loves to burrow under blankets! True Dachshund trait. .
 
Great job, that's really neat! Jax would probably love something like that. He loves to burrow in blankets. He's always takes my covers lol
 
That is so cute and clever!! The colors are great, too.

Bree would love it - He's snuggled right now on my lap with his back end hanging out and his head and chest under the quilt. A doxie trait for sure!;)

Beau is the same way, stick his bum out but not the rest of him.
The girls never do that. lol
