I called myself rescuing this fellow from a couple who claim it's a mini-dachshund. They purchased him for their daughters as a Christmas gift and decided he was simply too small for them to keep. They also have four pit bulls. I guess the thought didn't come to them until after bringing the puppy home that it might not be a good environment for the puppy. At any rate they were concerned and seeking to give him away to a good home. I thought he was sort of cute, dachshund or not. He's now 10 weeks old, weighs about 3 lbs., stands almost 5 inches tall, and answers to Cooper.
