I live in Louisville, Kentucky and would LOVE to meet up with other dachshund owners! We are also close to the border of Indiana making it easy to meet with people from there as well. If you live nearby and would like to meet some time, let me know. There are tons of dog friendly parks in Lville we can meet at. I would be happy to help coordinate the location, activities, etc. I would prefer to get a group together so we all feel "safe" meeting our online friends.

Can you contact some breeders in the area and give them your email? They can share with the folks that have gotten puppies from them. That's how we got started, we had one breeder who loved the idea! It grew from there.
