Hopping when running

Hi there, I have a question about my new mini dachshund puppy. He's now 11 weeks old and has just started going for walks outside this week. We've noticed that as he runs (not when he walks) he is hopping on his back legs, a few Google searches later and I'm terrified he has hip dysplasia! Did anyone else have puppies that did this? I've read that it can be common in puppies and they grow out of it but ahead of going to the vets for a check up (next week) I was hoping for some more info from other owners. Thanks so much x

Charlie has a little hoppity skip (as we call it haha). He does it less and less now. He is 2. I have thought about bringing it up to the vet but it has lessened a lot. If he starts up more at any time I will look deeper into it.
