I got my pups from a city shelter about 18 months ago. They told me the boy and girl were siblings about 2 years old.I suspect, and the vet agrees Prudie is probably older than Max. They are both red short hair. Prudie is a mini, but Max is a tweenie at 18 pounds. He's very fit, quite the toned boy from all his squirrel chasing and ball fetching.
They both are into hunting. They have exterminated rats, lizards, and most recently a baby possum. Yuck! But it's their nature.
Prudie has already had spine problems, pain and reluctance to move or climb steps. We treated with steroids and strict rest both times.
Max has some submissive urination thing that's mystifying. He pees when he thinks he might be in trouble. :/ I wonder what happened to him before we got him. In general he bosses all other dogs around though. If we don't watch he pushes my sister's shepherd mix around and takes his food.
