Hello there! I'm retired, living in France and this year we bought two Dachshund puppies - Hercule & Angus. They're our fourth and fifth Dachsies since we moved to France in 2000. We've always had a pair and they're wonderful company. Back in Scotland we had Dobermanns and Dachsies, in many ways, are very similar dogs but crammed into small bodies! Our current pair are a total handful - we must have been mad getting them. We had lost what we thought was our final boy, Dougie, 18 months ago; but the house was so empty......and here we are.

I'm sorry for the loss if your fur baby
I'm new here also ,I have A dachshund who is 10 month old . I had another dachshund who lived to be 14 she passed away last year
