My dogs start to shiver at 4 degrees C. We rarely get more than two weeks in a year below 0 C I don't think anyone who braves a -2 or lower is a wimp.

My son's minnie had ears like that. The breeder had a name for the ears, and indicated that it was a rare and desirable designer feature.
