Hi,
I'm new to the group, and joined as I was hoping to get a little advice dealing with a difficult doxie.
We've had our lovely little guy for 5 years now. We had no trouble housebreaking, he grew out of his chewing phase fairly young and the barking is manageable. Lately he is an absolute terror! Non stop getting into everything!
He can't even be trusted when we are home anymore. Jumping up to knock over and eat plants, getting into the bathroom garbage, digging through the laundry and generally breaking every rule we have.
He is well loved, walked/run daily and interacts regularly with other dogs. The only change was that I had been out of town for about 3 months tending to an ill family member, and when I returned this is what his actions were like!
Anyone else experience some big personality changes from a Weiney when they returned home??
