New dog?

Hi all. New here and hope I'm posting in the right place. We have a 5 month old mini dachshund who's very sociable with other dogs. Hubby has someone at work wanting to re home their 12 month old staffy and he's keen to take her on. I'm a little worried that she might be too rough and hurt my baby boy. We're told she gets along with their other dog but they wrestle and are very rough in play as they are around the same size.

Do you think the size difference is something to worry about?

Nope, my little 8lb girl plays very well with my 40lb terrier and he's extremely gentle. You might have to help the staffy learn to be gentle, but likely your doxie'll teach her to be gentle with him... they're very good at telling off rough dogs Mouse is the rough one in my house! LOL

Let them meet and see how they get along. Watch and controll if the other dog gets to hard.
