My 13 week old bites hard too when she's playing. I remove my hand and tell her in a firm voice "no" and then I give her a toy instead. Its been working. Sometimes she'll bite me when I am not looking and catch me off guard, talk about shark teeth! :eek:

hmmm interesting am I feeding hayley too much? She eats kirkland signature puppy food, she gets 1/4 cup 3 x's a day, she is 13 weeks old. She eats every bowl and still acts like she's hungry, but I figured that's a puppy thing.

Watched the movie, Mama and to my surprise there was red dachshund in it lol super cute and they showed him quite a bit. Its a horror movie, but it was pretty good, at least I think it was.

lol that is exactly what she has :D she also has a white spot on her chest, but her dappling has two different shades, one is a darker gray, not black and other is an almost dilute blue, she also has tan areas on her ears. My vet said she's an isabella dapple because of the coloring of her...

So cute! I have a "black and tan dapple too" although my vet who is dachshund savvy and rescues/fosters dachshunds says my pup is an isabella dapple.

Some people don't like the idea, but I don't mind it. I find it cute. While I won't have her dressed 24/7, I will when its chilly out and when I feel like taking some pictures :p I don't think I would put shoes on her, but I will get her sweaters, pj's, and t-shirts, not to mention fancy collars...

Your schedule and the way you have everything set up is great. One reason why I don't look at rescues is for this very reason, they make you go through so much and in the end find reasons not to adopt. I would think with your history here they'd be willing to adopt a pup out to you. Such a shame.

Does anyone dress their weanie dogs? I ordered a couple outfits for hayley :p just wondering if anyone dresses their pups and what sizes do you tend to get?
